Who We Are

The Bay didn't start with a restaurant concept. It started with four decades in the water.

We're the team behind W&T Seafood, Greater New York's seafood purveyor and distributor for over 40 years. We've spent a long time on the other side of the table — supplying the city's restaurants with the best shellfish the coasts have to offer. We know the supply chain inside and out, because we built it.

Several people are walking on a dock leading to the building, and fishing boats and equipment are visible around the structure. In the background, there is a tree-lined shore with houses.

The Freshest Oyster in New York City

Our exclusive East Coast distribution partnership with Taylor Shellfish Farms — a fifth-generation American institution dating back to the late 1800s — means that every Kumamoto or Shigoku oyster served anywhere in New York City comes through us first. At The Bay, we cut out every step in between. Our oysters are flown in daily from Washington State, arriving straight from the Pacific Ocean to your plate in under 48 hours. You simply cannot get fresher.

Something New for Flushing

Flushing has always had great food. What it's never had is a natural wine program. We're changing that. The Bay is proud to bring the neighborhood its first — and only — natural wine bar within a five-mile radius. Low intervention, no additives, just grapes and honest fermentation. Colorful, alive, and worth exploring glass by glass.

A Different Kind of Night Out

We believe the neighborhood deserves the full New York dining experience without having to leave for it. Come for the oysters, stay for the wine, and let us take care of the rest.
